Round Up the Change at Love’s this holiday season
This holiday season, Love’s Travel Stops across the country will be asking customers to round up their purchase to help kids treated at their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Stopping at Love’s on your holiday travels and rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar is an easy way to change kids’ health and change the future in your community.
Customer donations gathered during this holiday season will help kids like Abby!
Even before she was born, Abby’s parents knew she would need a team. Abby was diagnosed prenatally with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. She had her early treatment in San Diego, where she was born, but when her father retired from the Navy her family moved across the country to be closer to Duke Children’s. They had self-referred after extensive research.
Abby sees many specialists and therapists, but her Duke Children’s journey started a new chapter when she was diagnosed with leukemia when she was three. Children with Down syndrome are at higher risk for certain types of leukemia. Abby spent many days inpatient at Duke. Currently she is less than a month away from completing chemo for her leukemia. Her last day of chemo is January 11th!
Abby’s family is thankful for the attentive care they receive at Duke Children’s, and they know Duke will always be on Abby’s team!
Round Up the Change is a great way to give back to Duke Children’s and local kids treated in North Carolina and beyond.
Thanks to Love’s Travel Stops and their generous customers, we can raise needed funds for our hospital and transform how we meet the most urgent needs, saving more lives and protecting our collective future.
When we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
