Great Clips – A Great Cut With A Great Cause

Great Clips has supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 2004? This year, there will be 52 salons joining that effort for Duke Children’s, your local CMN Hospitals member, and their fundraising campaign starts soon! In addition to getting a great haircut, during the month of October you can make a donation of any amount at any participating Great Clips location in our area and help support Duke Children’s. Meet Jackson, one of our miracle kids from the Triad who was diagnosed with a severe, life-limiting lung condition known as Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, a type of high blood pressure that affects his lungs and heart.  Thirty years ago there were no treatments available for PAH; today there are medications that provide symptom relief and improved lung function, and Jackson benefits from those medical advances through the care he receives at Duke Children’s.  But there is still no cure.

Donations made at Great Clips help kids like Jackson have a better tomorrow.
