Publix 2019 Campaign Was a Success!
Publix hosted their 2019 Miracle Coupon Campaign during the last 12 days of June. Throughout these 12 days, miracle coupons were available to customers in exchange for a fixed donation of $1, $3 or $5 to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. 15 Publix stores graciously participated in the 2019 campaign supporting Duke Children’s.
For the 2019 campaign, those 15 stores—from Wilmington to Winston-Salem—raised over $64,000 for the kids! We are appreciative of these fundraising locations for Duke Children’s who helped us reach this total. Because of them, we are giving hope to the children and families that the hospital serves every day. This year, each store was matched with a Duke Children’s Champion from their geographic area. Three Ambassador Families were the faces and stories that stores shared with customers during the campaign. It was exciting to see how every store got behind their Champion Family and celebrated them during their efforts.
Since 1992, Publix associates and customers come together to make miracles happen for kids treated at local CMN Hospitals. Since the partnership began 27 years ago, $49 million dollars has been donated to help sick and injured kids in communities across seven states.
