Jocelyn Pietro Joins the Duke Children’s Team

Jocelyn Pietro joined the Duke Children’s team as an Intern earlier this year. Jocelyn graduated from Elon University, NC in May of 2019 with a B.A. in Public Health.

While at Elon Jocelyn served as the President of Elon’s Dance Marathon program, Elonthon. In her time as President the program raised over $340,000 for Duke Children’s. Jocelyn followed her passion of fundraising and development following graduation and continued her efforts to raise funds for Duke Children’s.

Jocelyn has utilized her Dance Marathon experience to help advise the 7 collegiate programs that raise funds for Duke Children’s. In addition to her role advising Dance Marathon programs, she acts as support to the rest of the Duke Children’s team on various programming needs.

Jocelyn is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and grow from her colleagues at Duke Health Development, while also supporting a cause she has seen make a difference in the lives of patients numerous times.
