Extra Life RDU teams up with Microsoft Store

On Sunday, September 30, the Raleigh-Durham Extra Life team joined forces with our local Microsoft Store to spread awareness of our mission and the Extra Life movement. The Raleigh-Durham Guild was out in full force, recruiting customers to participate in Extra Life 2018 to help support Duke Children’s. We streamed live from the Microsoft Store at The Streets at Southpoint, played games, and educated the community about all things Extra Life. Many thanks to our partners and friends at the Microsoft Store for hosting us and helping to spread the news about gaming for good.

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids. Locally, our Raleigh-Durham Extra Lifers have raised over $100,000 each of the last two years to support critical research, programs, and patient care at Duke Children’s hospital.
