Duke Children’s welcomes Emily Mitch Ward to the CMNH team

We are excited to announce that Emily Mitch Ward has joined the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals team at Duke Children’s as a Development Associate on Monday, October 18.  She has most recently served Alpha Phi International Fraternity as a program manager of Health, Wellness and Accountability working with chapter leadership & volunteers across 15 different campuses, along with developing educational opportunities for members across all 175 collegiate chapters.  Prior to her role with Alpha Phi, Emily served as the Assistant Director of Community Development – Fraternity and Sorority Life at both Elon University and at North Carolina State University.  Her role within the CMNH program will include supporting and mentoring campus student leadership to successful peer-to-peer collegiate dance marathon fundraising, and she’ll manage several CMNH corporate accounts. Emily is originally from Milwaukee, WI, and lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Zach, and cat, Holden. Outside of work, Emily plays ice hockey with a local women’s hockey league, and enjoys curling up with a good book on her porch. Welcome to the team, Emily!
