Dancing up a Duke Blue Storm at Devilthon!

130 Duke University students participated in this year’s Devilthon 8-hour Dance Marathon event on Sunday, November, 5. At the event’s conclusion, the students revealed their fundraising total of $20,000.41 for Duke Children’s hospital.

Three different Miracle Families joined the festivities, and campus acapella, dance, and cheer groups were on hand to keep energy high. Students also learned a special student-choreographed line dance. The Devilthon team raised $8,000 the day of the event through a series of fundraising pushes.

Devilthon is part of the Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon program, which unites college, university, and high school students across North America in fundraising for their local children’s hospitals. Devilthon has raised over $294,000 for Duke Children’s since its inception in 2013.

Thank you Devilthon for all your hard work (and dance steps!) for the kids!
